ист, полит"нулевой вариант"Предложение, выдвинутое в 1981 канцлером ФРГ Г. Шмидтом. Предусматривало ликвидацию Советским Союзом своих ракет среднего радиуса действия СС-20 [SS-20] в случае отказа США от развертывания в Европе крылатых ракет. Будучи рассчитана главным образом на психологический эффект, концепция "нулевого варианта" не была реализована. В дальнейшем получила развитие в качестве пропагандистского лозунга "двойной нулевой вариант" [double zero (zero-zero) option], который предусматривал объявление Советским Союзом и США совместного моратория на увеличение ядерного арсенала.
